PhotoArtGraphy regularly provides event photography and videography services throughout Southern Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland, including Southern York County, PA and nearby portions of Carroll, Baltimore, and Harford Counties, MD.
Events take place in a wide variety of locations, including farms, barns, parks, churches, schools, theaters, banquet facilities, corporate venues, private residences, community centers, and outdoor event spaces. We are accustomed to working in a variety of environments and adapting to different lighting conditions, schedules, and event formats.
If your event is located outside our typical service area, we are often still able to accommodate it. During the planning process, we'll discuss the event location, travel considerations, and any applicable travel fees.
Whether you're planning a family celebration, anniversary party, reunion, school event, fundraiser, church gathering, community event, or corporate function, our goal is to provide professional, reliable coverage that helps preserve the story and atmosphere of the day.
How much event coverage do I need?
The amount of coverage needed depends on the type of event, the size of the gathering, the schedule of activities, and the moments you would like documented.
Some events only require a couple hours of coverage to capture key moments, while others benefit from more extensive coverage that tells the complete story of the day from beginning to end. For example, you may wish to include guest arrivals, candid interactions, family group photos, speeches, performances, dancing, cake cutting, or other important moments.
During the planning process, we'll discuss your event timeline and priorities and help determine the amount of photography and/or videography coverage that best fits your needs.
Our goal is not simply to photograph an event, but to preserve the moments, relationships, atmosphere, and memories that make the occasion meaningful.
Can you photograph both candid moments and group photos?
Absolutely.
Most events benefit from a combination of candid photography and lightly directed group portraits. Candid images help tell the story of the event by capturing genuine interactions, authentic expressions, and meaningful moments as they naturally unfold. At the same time, many clients also want formal or semi-formal group photographs of family members, friends, guests, teams, or organizations.
Before your event, we'll discuss any specific group photos that are important to you and identify the best time and location to create them. During the event, we'll also capture the candid moments, details, atmosphere, and interactions that help preserve the full experience of the day.

Depending on the event, this may include guest interactions, speeches, performances, dancing, special presentations, milestone moments, venue details, and other memorable scenes that help tell the story of the event.
While photographs preserve important moments, video can capture movement, laughter, music, reactions, and the overall feeling of the occasion in a unique way. Many clients choose to combine photography and videography to create a more complete record of their event.
Event highlight videos are available for many types of family celebrations, anniversary parties, reunions, school events, church events, community gatherings, fundraisers, performances, and business events.
During the planning process, we'll discuss your event timeline, goals, and priorities to determine whether a highlight video may be a good fit for your event.
How many photos will I receive?
The number of images delivered varies based on the type of session, length of coverage, and the goals of the project.
Because PhotoArtGraphy offers customized photography and videography services, there is no fixed number of images that applies to every session. Following your shoot, your images will be professionally reviewed and edited, and you will receive a curated collection of high-quality digital files that best capture the story, personality, and important moments of your session.
We are happy to discuss image expectations during the planning process based on the specific service you are booking.
What can I do with the pictures?
Your professionally edited images are yours to enjoy, share, and display.
Clients commonly use their photographs on social media, personal websites, family websites, graduation announcements, newsletters, holiday cards, printed albums, wall art, framed prints, and a variety of other personal projects.
Organizations, schools, churches, nonprofits, and businesses often use event photographs for websites, social media, newsletters, annual reports, marketing materials, promotional pieces, fundraising efforts, and internal communications.
The specific usage rights may vary depending on the type of project, particularly for commercial photography and videography assignments. If you have questions about a particular use, we are always happy to discuss it during the planning process.

Can I have the photos printed?
Absolutely.
Your professionally edited event photographs can be printed in a variety of sizes and formats, including framed prints, albums, canvas wraps, wall art, graduation displays, anniversary displays, memory books, and other keepsakes.
Many clients choose to create printed products that help preserve and share the memories of their event with family members, friends, guests, employees, customers, or organization members.
You are welcome to use the digital images for personal printing, and professional print options are also available through PhotoArtGraphy and our printing partners. Print products and printing services, when selected, are typically separate from photography coverage fees.
For clients who choose to include videography or an event highlight video, digital video files can also be shared and enjoyed for years to come as part of preserving the story of the event.
Our goal is to help you enjoy and relive your event memories long after the celebration has ended.
How far in advance should I book event photography?
As early as possible.
Many events are scheduled months in advance, and booking early helps ensure availability for your preferred date. This is especially true for popular weekends, graduation season, holiday events, school functions, and other dates when photography demand tends to be higher.
That said, last-minute inquiries are always welcome. If your event is approaching soon, feel free to reach out. If availability allows, we are often able to accommodate events booked on shorter notice.
The earlier we connect, the more time we'll have to discuss your event timeline, photography and videography needs, important moments, group photos, locations, and any special requests.
If you already have a date in mind, it's never too early to start the conversation.
What happens if my event runs longer than expected?
Events don't always go exactly according to schedule, and we understand that timelines can occasionally shift during the course of the day.
If your event begins running later than expected or additional coverage is desired, we will do our best to accommodate the change whenever our schedule allows. Additional coverage time may be available for an additional fee.
If it appears that your event timeline is changing, we appreciate being informed as soon as possible so we can discuss available options and make appropriate arrangements.
